At the end of March I had completed several quilts and had a few minutes to contemplate my colours in anticipation of April's Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I took time to print off all the rest of the foundation patterns and put them into bags. Just to be ready. Since I am doing all these blocks by machine, I did not prep any blocks to take to Poland with me, nor will I take any next week as I go to babysit the little boy grand children.
The colour ended up being mulit-colour and that did not jive with my colour pallet. I wonder what the colour will be for May?
Blessings,
Chris

You are so organized! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Sometimes my organizing is avoiding getting to the real work because I am not sure what to do next.
DeleteI'm in the same boat as you Chris - multicolored is not working for me either. Maybe we could get away with it as borders or binding??? Thanks for sharing your progress on Midweek Makers
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great start on the quilt. Getting organised and planning done to me is a great start.

Often I spend far more time planning in my head and moving stuff in anticipation of a project then I do working on it.
DeleteI love your organizational style - and I agree with you - sometimes organizing is my way of delaying sewing. Sometimes I just need to be in my studio to allow projects to marinate as I organize. Thank you so much for sharing!
